New Berlin Centennial circle seal
Old Home Week Seals

Terence Hines
New Hampshire square seal

Old Home Week was a movement beginning at the end of the 19th century to encourage those who had moved away from cities in the northeast to return, at least for visits. It caught on for many years and led to annual celebrations in many cities. A variety of colorful seals were issued to publicize and commemorate these events. The seals are collectible as philatelic "Cinderelas." [sic] This handbook provides an introduction and full-color catalog of the known Old Home Week seals.
