Voluntary Wildlife Conservation Stamps
Volume I - Government Issues
Black bear with cub

Voluntary wildlife conservation stamps are stamps issued for fundraising that convey no hunting, fishing, or access privilege. These stamps all have a wildlife theme and designs by leading or up-and-coming wildlife artists. Mainly issued by societies (which will be the topic of the second volume), they have also been issued by both federal and state government agencies. This handbook describes and illustrates in full color 5 series of stamps from federal agencies and 41 series from state agencies. Valuations are provided for each stamp along with a cross reference index to the artists.

Philatelists, conservationists, and cinderella collectors should find this handbook appealing. The handbook is available in saddle-stitched and spiral bindings.

You can preview the front cover, the Table of Contents, and a sample page.
